production of opp / pvc tape coating machines, adhesion equipment, water- based adhesive test equipment and solvent recovery systems begun in chiayi, began installation-engineering services for coating line.
first opp tape coating line, a machine speed capable of up to 80 meters per minute, ami moved from chiayi to its current location in yangmei, taiwan. machine speed capability improved to 150 meters per minute for high-speed opp tape coating machine with automatic splicer. succeeded in developing and producing a vertical glass fabric treater and thermal oxidizer, exported a shaftless dual-roll cutter to britain. successful production of a 1.6m width floatation type high-speed opp tape coating machine and 12 tons solvent-base acrylic adhesion reaction tank. began production of 1.3m width pvc tape coating line wtih external heater oven and surface winder, exported the vinyl tape coating line to the world's most prominent tape manufacturer. produced and sold the first 20ft hot air vertical treater, started to develop and sell the coating machine for multilayer ceramic capacitor(mlcc), silicon release coater and pe blown machine. began sales of high-strength reflective film/tape coating machines, established division ii to develop chemcal-mechanical polisher (cmp), and spun off as asia ic mic-process, inc. began development and sales of flexible copper clad laminate (fccl) coating machine, began development and sales of thermo oil-type vertical treater, lithium battery production equipment and steam remoisturizing equipment, set up a clean room in yangmei factory for ami's first multipurpose pilot coating machine and to provide research and development for ami and its customers. started the development and sales of 250 meters per minute high-speed dual- side synchronous coating machine and turn-bar systems, reopened chiayi factory to expand capacity, began development of rto incinerator and curtain die coating systems. |
